Placentia Certified Farmers Market

One should visit the Placentia Certified Farmers Market, which strives to promote healthy, wholesome, and abundant living by providing access to fresh produce and homemade goods. In the past, rambling orange groves and local farms dotted the landscape of Placentia, and people made their own household items instead of buying generic store-bought items. The concept of community encompasses more than just the civic center. It also includes thriving neighborhoods and a superior standard of living. Experience this sense of community by visiting the Placentia Certified Farmers Market every Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It is situated at the Placentia Town Center, 130 East Yorba Linda Boulevard, near the Bank of America building, at the intersection of Yorba Linda Boulevard and Kraemer Boulevard. With around 30 unique and exciting vendors, the Certified Farmers Market provides a wide range of options to the Placentia Town Center community.

Critical race theory is banned from teaching

The Placentia-Yorba Linda School Board in Orange County has voted 3-2 to ban the teaching of critical race theory. The theory is a way of thinking about America's history through the lens of racism and is viewed by some Republicans as an effort to rewrite American history. The district board of education heard arguments for and against the ban, with the majority speaking out against the ban. The ban does not specify what would happen if a teacher violated the policy. Nevertheless, I'm glad that the teaching of critical race theory has been banned because banning it will avoid issues of racism. Read more
